Underage Gambling Policy
Vancouver Casino accepts adults aged 19 and older only. This page explains how we stop minors from playing and what parents and guardians can do at home.
A. Adults only
1.1 Account sign-up, deposits and every game at Vancouver Casino, free spins and promotions included, are for players aged 19+ only.
1.2 We offer our games only in places where local law permits them. Canadian rules on age verification, identity checks and anti-money laundering apply.
1.3 Our advertising targets adults only. Promotions are never created to attract minors.
B. Filtering and parental controls
2.1 Most home routers, phones, tablets and computers have built-in parental controls. Turn them on to stop access to gambling sites and app downloads.
2.2 Filtering software can block gambling content across a household network. Check your device or internet provider settings for the options available to you.
2.3 Set screen locks with codes your children do not know, and require a password for app store purchases.
C. Shared devices
3.1 If others in your home use the same device:
- sign out when each session ends;
- block your browser from saving your password;
- store card and e-wallet information where others cannot get to it;
- never let anyone under 19 play on your account, even to watch.
3.2 Any activity on your account is your responsibility. Allowing a minor to play breaches our General Terms.

D. How we check age
4.1 During registration we need your full legal name, your home address and your date of birth, which we check against independent data sources.
4.2 No deposit is accepted until identity and geolocation checks are complete. With no deposit, play is not possible.
4.3 If we cannot confirm your age electronically, we request current photo identification issued by a government. The account stays restricted until we confirm you are 19+.
4.4 We can run fresh age checks at any time, including at withdrawal. Details are in Verification and AML.
E. When a minor is identified
5.1 We immediately close any account that a person under 19 owns or uses.
5.2 Winnings are void. Deposits are handled as Canadian law requires.
5.3 If an adult account holder allowed a minor to play, we may close that account too.
5.4 We erase any personal data gathered from a minor, unless the law obliges us to hold on to it. Our Privacy Notice explains this in more detail.
